The Escalade Race is scored by an electronic chip. The carpet will are placed at the start and finishing line.

The ranking for the different categories of the Escalade Race are based on official times., i.e. from the moment the starter gun goes off until the runner passes the finishing line. Each runner can get his personnal time by Internet and from the result booklet.

Any runner that join the race after the stard line will be disqualified. The electronic time device does regular check ups from the start of and during the entire race. 

On returning the electronic chip at the end of the race you will receive a souvenir prize.

Runners who collected the their number but did not run must give back their chip, otherwise they will be billed CHF 30,-- by the organisers.
