Train

The train is the best way to come to Geneva from most towns in Switzerland. Timetable are available on the CFF website.

From Geneva Cornavin Station it takes approximately 10 minutes on the bus to get to the Escalade Race aera. Allow at leas 15 minutes if you want to walk. The bus stops nearest to the start of the race are Plainpalais and Bel-Air (Cité). The Place Neuve stop is closed on race day.

Public transportation

Take the bus or the tramway to the Escalade Race aera. To choose the best bus route from home to the Bastions, check the TPG website. The bus stops nearest to the start of the race are Plainpalais and Bel-Air (Cité). The Place Neuve stop is closed on race day.

Those people who arrive in Geneva by motorway are advised to leave their car at the Park + Ride Etoile (from Lausanne follow the signs for France and the La Praille). At the Etoile Park + Ride take the tram 15 to Plainpalais which is an approximately 10 minutes ride.
