Introduction to running and training sessions for people over 60 years of age The Escalade Race in close collaboration with ATHLETICA organises special training sessions for Seniors. A healthy person can start running at any age, as it is a basic sport, easy to practise and friendly. The training sessions are adapted to each participant's level of ability and age (this means there is no contra-indication to prevent participation). The sessions are run by specialists from the ATHLETICA CENTRE who will help you to improve your physical condition and will aslo measure your progress. Participation to the training sessions is free and reserved for people over 60. They start on Thursday September 17th 2009 and continue every Thursday until the Escalade Race which is on December 5th 2009. Sessions will take place at the Stade-du-Bout-du-Monde in Champel from 14.30 to approximately 16.00. These will take place whatever wather. If wet they will take place indoors. You may attend as many sessions as you wish.
