Following the enormous success, we are organising for the 3rd consecutive year a Walking and Nordic Walking event.

The course between Veyrier and the Bastions Park is 8km long.

• Starting time : 08.15
• Meeting place : in front of the church in Veyrier right in the centre of the village.
• The Walking and Nordic Walking will start together. The start will be given by a cannon shot (walkers with sticks must start behind the other walkers)
• No food supplied during the race.
• Ranking and timing : as it is not a competitve event, there will be no ranking list but everyone participating will know the time they took between the cannon shot and crossing the timing mat on the finish line
• Changing rooms : These are at Veyrier village schoold near to the starting line.
• Bags : Thre will be vans at Veyrier to bring back the walkers' bags to Uni Dufour where there will be available from 09.30. Bags must be handed over at Veyrier school before 108.15 (when the vans will leave Veyrier).
• Public transportation : It is recommanded that you go to Veyrier by bus (numbers 8, 34, 41), as parking space for car is very limited in Veyrier.
• Numbers  can be collected Friday evening in the Bastions tent. The numbers that have not been collected Friday evening can be collected Saturday morning in the covered playground at Veyrier village school between 07.30 and 08.00.
